ZIMLICH LINDA L. ZIMLICH (nee Urbanski), age 52, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer. She tirelessly enjoyed gourmet cooking and entertaining for friends and family. She also loved gardening, painting, travel, golf, and spending time with her nieces and nephews. A consummate professional, she began her career out of high school as a travel agent trainee, eventually managing global corporate travel policies for Fortune 500 companies, including Eaton Corporation, United Technologies, and Oracle. An inspiration to many, she will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have shared life with her. Beloved wife of Jeffrey A.; Loving daughter of Robert and Irene Urbanski; Dearest daughter-in-law of Clint (deceased) and Lillian Zimlich. Dearest sister of Chuck and Chris Urbanski, Mark Urbanski and Laura East, Carl and Kim Urbanski; Cherished sister-in-law of Larry Zimlich, Curtis and Lynn (Zimlich) Edwards; Dear Aunt of Ryan and Meghan Urbanski, Casey, Katherine Rose (Deceased), and Colin Urbanski, Laszlo and Julie (Walland) Takacs, Jason Walland, and Dustin Zimlich; Great-aunt of Courtney Walland; Cousin and niece of many; Dearly loved by all. Friends and family may call on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Waite and Son Funeral Home, Brunswick, Chapel, 3300 Center Rd. Brunswick 44212, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, at 10AM at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church, 3100 S. Weymouth Road, Medina OH 44256. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick.
